How much of the architectural design do you need?

We are looking only for an overview of the architectural image of the exterior of the building. By that we mean, how it will look from the outside from one or more view points. We are not looking for any interior design of the building at all. You do not need to do any detailed architectural design or provide internal plans or details (like internal staircases, number of rooms etc).

If you look at the judging criteria for the Stage 1 posters and Stage 2 presentation, that will help you assess the relative level of detail required for the architectural design compared to other factors that will be judged.

What is the size of the site for the building?

The size of the site for the building is 25 metres by 25 metres. You can assume that the site has access from a road and that it is surrounded by other buildings.

When we are designing the architecture for the building, do we need to condider the surrounding area, for example, buildings or fields?

No. Just consider the building itself and the site where it is to be built. The size of the MDF baseboard for your model (25cm x 25cm) relates directly to the real site for the building, which is 25 metres x 25 metres.
