Use this calculator, to find:
- The number of steel blocks for each floor of your model.
- The mass for each floor for the Vertical Load Test

For every floor
of your model do the following:
- Calculate the area of the floor in square centimetres.
- Type the area in sq cm in the box below and click the calculate
button to see the results

Example:
A rectangular floor has sides 15.3 cm by 16.2 cm

- Area of floor = 15.3 x 16.2 = 247.86 sq cm
- You would type 247.86 into the area box.

Result:
You will need to add at least 2480
grams to this floor. So you will need 4
steel blocks for this floor. 4 steel
blocks have a mass of 2540 grams.
This is the mass you must add to this floor of your model for the
Vertical Load Test.

a mass of 1905 grams which would not be enough. |
