Hi,professor: How long will it last that the shaking-table shakes in a certain frequency? How much is the phase of the earthquake waves from two different directions? Whether the phase is unaltered or not? |

Hi, professor: I am from team7 and we have a little idea of simulating the shaking-table test. So we want to ask about the specific details in the test. How large is the displacement and the acceleration of the earthquakes in the final test? |

We still don't have the final details of the shake that will be used but it should be very similar to that described on http://www.ideers.bris.ac.uk/Discussion/messages/101/303.html?1247588550 For the table accelerations see the info for the shakes in Korea at the bottom of that page. The plan is that the tests in China will be the same. The shake is a biaxial sine sweep, it lasts 60 secs, and will be run at gradually increasing levels until all the models have failed. |
